Our single axle, round style trailer fenders are American Made and provides an excellent option for your trailer. This product is 36"x10-3/4" made with 16-gauge cold rolled steel and provides lasting protection for single axle trailers. The steel is raw and will need to be finished or painted in order to seal it and protect it from rust and corrosion. Cold rolled steel is up to 20 percent stronger than typical hot rolled steel. Using heat to roll the steel can weaken it, but keeping it above room temperature holds its structural integrity. Additionally, cold rolled steel will have a better surface finish than hot rolled. Installation: This unit has a 1" radius lip on the front and a 90 degree angle back to provide universal mounting to either side of your trailer. There are no pre-drilled holes. Mount with the flat surface flush with the trailer. This unit features the back plate welded into place.
