LOW PROFILE CLIP EQUIPPED WITH A HEAVY-DUTY SPRING These practical hardboard clipboards are designed to be used with 9'' x 12.5'' paper sheets, which is the industry standard - also commonly known as ‘A4'. The metal clip is riveted onto the board to ensure stability, sturdily constructed and fitted with a heavy duty spring. Depending on the stock, it may hold up to 100 sheets of paper - which is probably far more than anyone ever needs. This doesn't mean, however, that it can't be used to hold smaller paper sizes - or even memos and post-it notes, if that's what you need it to hold!
