The Vault is a small form factor PC built for use as a firewall / router and other, typically Open Source, applications. The V1210 is the first of a new “V” series of Vaults which employs the N5105, fixed DDR4 memory configuration (4GB on the V1210), 32GB eMMC, M.2 NVMe storage along with M.2 slots for optional WiFi, LTE and other modules. The V1210 has 2x I226-V 2.5G RJ-45 Ethernet ports. The Vault uses standard components, including network ports, which results in compatibility with a large variety of operating systems (OS) and applications. The “V” series of Vaults are fanless so it has no moving parts, which results in an incredibly durable platform that can be used in less than ideal environments. Its all aluminum enclosure is a giant heat sink, keeping the CPU cool.
