In nature, flies and nymphs like the baetis nymph exhibit multiple colors, inspiring the creation of color blends for better fly bodies. This yarn offers essential colors and blends tailored to specific fly families, ensuring consistent results for both new and experienced tyers. Its twin strands can be used straight off the spool for larger flies or split for smaller ones, with a range of colors suitable for all skill levels. Each spool contains approximately 5m or 5.4 yards of Dirty Bug Yarn.
