The cabinet's fast-acting TE Cooling Wafer regulates the interior's relative humidity from 60-35% to help prevent corrosion that can damage delicate gear and other sensitive materials. Humidity adjustments take place over a 1- to 3-hour period.
The large LCD screen displays ambient temperature (in Fahrenheit or Celsius) and the relative humidity. The cabinet is gasket-sealed to maintain humidity levels.
An electronic fingerprint locking system ensures curated access. Manual and automatic locking modes allow the door to be unlocked and locked with your fingerprint, or allow the door to automatically self-lock when the door closes. Up to 20 fingerprints can be stored, for controlled access to the cabinet, making it ideal for use in a shared office. Two keys are provided for manual access to stored contents.
The Electronic Cabinet has no fan or compressor to make noise, so it provides silent operation. It is also dripless, eliminating the need for a messy water tray that requires draining. The cabinet is powered by an included multi-voltage power supply.
