Installation Information: Component replacement requires disassembly of the engine block to access the piston assemblies.Remove the connecting rod cap retaining hardware.Carefully extract the piston and rod assembly from the cylinder bore.Remove the old rings from the piston grooves using appropriate tools.Clean the piston grooves to remove carbon residue.Install the piston rings onto the piston according to the specified orientation and ring gap requirements.Reinstall the piston assembly into the cylinder bore using a ring compressor.Attach and torque the connecting rod cap hardware to factory specifications.
