This series of electromagnetic power loss brakes are powered on electromagnetic suction and when power is cut off, the spring is pressurized to achieve friction braking. They are mainly matched with Y series motors to form YEJ series electromagnetic braking three-phase asynchronous motors. Suitable for metallurgical, construction, chemical, food, machine tools, packaging, stage, elevator, ship and other machinery, achieving rapid parking, accurate positioning, safe braking and other purposes.
This series of brakes is composed of yoke body, excitation coil, spring, brake disc, armature, spline sleeve, manual release device, etc. Install on the rear cover of the motor (or on the flange of the equipment), adjust the installation screw to make the air gap to the specified value; The spline sleeve is fixed on the shaft, and the brake disc can slide axially on the spline sleeve, generating braking when braking.
When the coil of the brake is energized, the coil generates a magnetic field, the armature is magnetically attracted to the yoke, the armature is disconnected from the brake disc, and the brake disc is carried by the motor shaft to rotate normally; When the coil is de-energized, the magnetic field disappears, and the armature is pushed to the brake disc by the force of the spring, generating frictional and braking.
Pulling the "manual release device" or tightening the "screw release device" can also release the armature, which is convenient for the installation and adjustment of the equipment.
