The 8188-IC IP Ceiling Speaker is a SIP speaker used for voice paging, emergency, and playing music. Designed for drop ceilings, the 8188-IC is ideal for hallways and common areas in education, retail, hospitality, health care and commercial office spaces.​ The speaker is a fully compliant 3rd party SIP endpoint. As a result, this IP ceiling speaker is compatible with most cloud and premise-based VoIP telephone systems.​ The Algo 8188-IC IP Horn Array Speaker is fully InformaCast-compliant. All Algo InformaCast IP endpoints register seamlessly with Singlewire InformaCast for emergency notification and public address.
