WatchGecko Abyss PU Rubber Dive Strap
Developed exclusively by WatchGecko, the Abyss PU Rubber Dive Strap is a modern dive strap built for durability, comfort, and everyday wear.
Manufactured by a specialist supplier with advanced production controls, the strap delivers a consistent, high-quality finish. Made from high-performance PU rubber, it offers an excellent balance of flexibility and strength, with strong resistance to water, sweat, and UV exposure. Based on supplier declarations, the PU material is PFAS-free and suitable for prolonged skin contact.
The design is inspired by historic professional dive straps and features functional expansion ridges near the lugs. Originally created to improve comfort and flexibility for divers, these ridges enhance wearability while maintaining a clean, modern look suited to contemporary dive and sports watches.
For long-term use, the strap material has undergone UV exposure testing. Where applicable, ND table printing has been tested for rub and abrasion resistance to help maintain legibility. Each strap is fitted with a solid 316L stainless steel buckle, sandblasted for a low-reflective tool-watch finish and deeply etched with the WatchGecko logo.
ND Edition
The ND edition features a printed No-Decompression limits table on the long strap side, adding authentic tool-watch character inspired by traditional dive equipment.
