Specification:
Item Type: Micrometer
Range: Approx. 50-75mm / 2-3in
Material: Carbon steel
Resolution: Approx. 0.01mm
Error: Approx. ±0.04mm
Scale Technology: Laser scale
Measurement Type: Outer diameter measurement
How to use:
1. For zero calibration, ensure that the front edge of the micrometer cylinder is aligned with the horizontal engraved line, and the main axis scale is aligned with the zero scale of the micrometer cylinder. The first step to correct the degree is to ensure that the zero calibration is correct.
2. When measuring an object, first rotate the ratchet to adjust the distance between the side drill and the side micro screw to be slightly larger than the size of the object, and put the object to be measured into it.
3. Slowly rotate the ratchet until it clicks, and the reading starts. The click indicates that it has been locked, and it is not necessary to rotate it too hard, otherwise it will cause damage.
4. First, read the graduation value of the scale line under the fixed casing with the end surface of the microtube as the guideline, and then use the horizontal line on the fixed casing as the reading guideline to read the graduation value on the movable scale. , The reading should be read to one-tenth of the minimum degree.
